Questions We Hear a Lot
Is refurbished hardware actually reliable?
Every GPU in the fleet survives a 72-hour burn-in of sustained compute load, memory stress, and thermal cycling, then benchmarks against factory-fresh reference hardware before it's deployed. Cards that fail any stage never enter the fleet. Once deployed, everything is covered by our 99.5% uptime SLA, backed by service credits.
Is my data safe on second-life hardware?
Yes. GPUs don't retain your data between sessions, and the storage that comes with your instance is never inherited from a previous owner. Drives from decommissioned servers are wiped or destroyed at intake. Your workloads run isolated from other tenants. Full details on our Security & Data Handling page.
What happens if a GPU fails mid-run?
The fleet is monitored around the clock. If a node degrades, we migrate your workload to a certified spare and credit any affected time per the SLA. Making hardware fail on our bench instead of your training run is the entire point of the certification process.
How does billing work?
Simple hourly billing per GPU: no egress fees, no reserved-instance lock-in, no surprise line items. Pay for what you use. If you want lower rates, reserved-capacity commitments of 3, 6, or 12 months earn 10–30% off.
