Watching a forklift carry out perfectly functional servers destined for the shredder was painful in a way that's hard to describe. One of us had spent a career keeping datacenter hardware alive. The other had spent one squeezing every last drop of performance out of it. Watching that forklift drive away gave us both the same idea.
The AI boom has created a supply and waste problem that nobody talks about. As companies race to acquire the latest clusters, they're disposing of older ones that still have years of useful life left. Enterprises are refreshing benchmark-passing hardware on a schedule, not because it's failing, but because something newer exists. That hardware doesn't just disappear. It goes to a shredder, or a landfill, or sits in a warehouse somewhere collecting dust.

We rescue decommissioned GPU clusters, recertify every unit through rigorous benchmarking, and redeploy them as serious compute infrastructure at a fraction of hyperscaler pricing.
